Malinda Ware is a Cornell University Statewide DE&I Facilitator and Program Director at CCE Sullivan County. Malinda was hired as an Issue Leader in Sullivan before taking a 4-H Issue Leader position in Orange County until 2001.

Malinda graduated with Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Newburgh. She currently serves as a Human Rights Commissioner, a former Newburgh Housing Authority Commissioner, and has been volunteering for several community-based organizations for more than 35 years. Malinda also owns a small event planning business since 2006. Malinda is very involved in her community and sine the pandemic began, she collaborates weekly with Sacred Heart to distribute food to the community.

"I am so honored to be selected to return to Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County," said Malinda. "I live and was raised in Orange County; however, Sullivan is where I am 'home'. I miss the people and most of all the friendships that were developed over the years. I am excited and cannot wait to work with staff, both old and new, and the community."
