Tai Chi is an evidence-based gentle exercise and wellness program designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, overall health, and to help prevent falls! This is a 1-hour class once a week for 8 weeks, beginning August 25th and ending October 13th.

This program is Tai Chi for Arthritis, Stage 2 for beginners and those with some prior experience.

What is Tai Chi?

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow and gentle movements with deep breathing.

Tai chi helps:

  • Increase strength, balance, and posture.
  • Prevent the risk of falls.
  • Improve the mind, body, and spirit.
  • Reduce stress.

CCE Sullivan is pleased to provide you with our services. Our Tai Chi program is funded by the Older Americans Act through the NYS Office for the Aging, NYS Department of Health, and your donations. No one will be denied services because of an inability or unwillingness to contribute. Your donations are appreciated.

Fee

A one-time donation of $25 or $5 per class is appreciated. Interested participants can pay via cash, check, or card on the "donate" tab of our website!
