Hudson Valley | Catskills Welcome Center welcomes the West Point Band for a Spring Series of performances on our I Love NY patio!
The West Point Band will come with a different small band for each performance. They include a guitar and vocalist, a brass quintet, wind instrument group and more!
The West Point Band is promoting their Summer Concert Series, which is held at West Point on dates throughout the summer.
Soak up the sunshine, enjoy live music, and celebrate the season with us!
Make sure to stop inside the Taste NY market to grab a cold beer or cider, and a made-in-NY snack to enjoy while you watch the performance.

The West Point Band is the official musical ensemble of the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. Founded in 1817, it’s one of the Army’s oldest and most prestigious bands.
The group performs a wide range of music—from patriotic and military pieces to jazz, classical, and contemporary selections—at military ceremonies, public concerts, and community events. Beyond entertainment, the band plays an important role in representing the U.S. Army, honoring traditions, and connecting with the public through music.

West Point Band Summer Concert Series
The West Point Band Summer Concert Series is a long-running seasonal tradition that brings free, live music to the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas during the warmer months.
Typically held outdoors—often at scenic spots like Trophy Point overlooking the Hudson River—the series features a mix of performances by different ensembles within the band, including concert band, jazz groups, and specialty ensembles. The concerts usually run from June through August and are designed to be family-friendly, relaxed, and open to the public.
Each performance highlights a variety of music, from patriotic favorites and military marches to contemporary pieces and themed programs. Some evenings are tied to special celebrations—like Independence Day concerts or Army birthday events—and may even include extras like fireworks or pre-show activities.
Overall, the series is all about enjoying high-quality live music in a casual, outdoor setting while connecting the community with one of the Army’s premier musical groups.

Parking is conveniently located right in front of Market Hall.
