DESCRIPTION:Hudson Valley | Catskills Welcome Center welcomes the West Point Band for a Spring Series of performances on our I Love NY patio!The West Point Band will come with a different small band for each performance. Founded in 1817, it’s one of the Army’s oldest and most prestigious bands.The group performs a wide range of music—from patriotic and military pieces to jazz, classical, and contemporary selections—at military ceremonies, public concerts, and community events. Beyond entertainment, the band plays an important role in representing the U.S. Army, honoring traditions, and connecting with the public through music.
