Tai Chi for Falls Prevention & Arthritis is an evidence-based gentle exercise and wellness program designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, overall health, and to help prevent falls!

What is Tai Chi?

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow and gentle movements with deep breathing.

Tai chi helps:

  • Increase strength, balance, and posture.
  • Prevent the risk of falls.
  • Improve the mind, body, and spirit.
  • Reduce stress.

Our Tai Chi program is funded by the Older Americans Act through the NYS Office for the Aging, NYS Department of Health, and your donations. No one will ever be denied services because of an inability or unwillingness to contribute.

Your donations are appreciated. Suggested amount: $25 for all 12 classes or $5 per class.
