Connecting Farmers & Landowners: Pathways to Land Access

This panel discussion and networking event offers practical tools and real‑world perspectives for farmers and landowners navigating land leasing and land purchase decisions.
Participants will hear from a diverse panel representing multiple perspectives on land access. Winterton Farms and Finca Seremos will share firsthand experiences navigating land access challenges and opportunities, while the owner of Channery Hill will discuss their experience leasing their land to a farm in Sullivan County. Jennifer Grossman from FarmCo New York will address legal considerations, leasing arrangements, and contracting best practices that support successful farmer–landowner partnerships.
The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A, allowing attendees to engage directly with the panelists. Both farmers and landowners are encouraged to attend. Dedicated time during and after the event will create opportunities for networking and making connections between farmers seeking land and landowners interested in leasing their property.
Light refreshments will be provided, and beverages will be available for purchase from Two Farms Brewery.
