Poultry Processing Roadshow

• Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Each participant will receive one bird to process and take home, gaining real experience with:

Humane handling and proper dispatching

Scalding and plucking using correct temperatures and timing

Evisceration techniques with sanitation checkpoints

Chill tank management for food safety

Shrink bag packaging and labeling

Safe transport and storage of your finished bird

You’ll leave with processing tools, a fully processed chicken that you completed yourself, and the skills to repeat the process on your own farm!

There is a $25 fee to attend this class, processing tools and bird are included in that fee.
