Poultry Processing Roadshow

  • Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Each participant will receive one bird to process and take home, gaining real experience with:

  • Humane handling and proper dispatching
  • Scalding and plucking using correct temperatures and timing
  • Evisceration techniques with sanitation checkpoints
  • Chill tank management for food safety
  • Shrink bag packaging and labeling
  • Safe transport and storage of your finished bird

  • You’ll leave with processing tools, a fully processed chicken that you completed yourself, and the skills to repeat the process on your own farm!

    There is a $25 fee to attend this class, processing tools and bird are included in that fee.
