Join us to learn "the nuts and bolts of high tunnels," including how to fund a high tunnel, why high tunnels can be beneficial for a farm operation, and how they are constructed!
The high tunnel workshop will take place at Sprouting Dreams farm, a diversified vegetable farm in Liberty, owned and operated by LeeAnna Maniacc and Eugene Thalmann. Eugene will speak about the process of pursuing NRCS funding for high construction, the differences in his high tunnel infrastructure, how high tunnels contribute to the farm's production, how to construct high tunnels, and the continued maintenance of the tunnels and their soil. Questions will be accepted at all parts during the conversation.
