“Cooking is a good, stimulating activity to help seniors stay busy and use their minds," says, John Moore, DO, an Aetna medical director and senior health specialist. Learning new skills and tasks — like preparing a new recipe — can stave off cognitive decline.

Want to learn how and why cooking matters in your community? Join us to learn cooking and food safety skills with the goal of increasing your knowledge base, helping you make healthier and more empowered decisions, and using cooking as a way to be creative, self-nurturing and to connection with others - from the farmer's market to the family dinner table!
