Malinda Ware is a Cornell University Statewide DE&I Facilitator. She will be departing from CCE Orange as the 4- H Issue Leader. Malinda manages a team of professionals to promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of school-age youth in Orange County. Malinda graduated with Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Newburgh. She currently serves as a Human Rights Commissioner, a former Newburgh Housing Authority Commissioner, and has been volunteering for several community-based organizations for more than 35 years. Malinda also owns a small business by the name of Arrangement Concierges and Event Management since 2006. Malinda is very involved in her community and during COVID 19 she collaborated with Sacred Heart to distribute food to the community and continues these efforts today. Malinda states, "I am so honored to be selected to return to Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County. I live and was raised in Orange County; however, Sullivan is where I am “home”. I miss the people and most of all the friendships that were developed over the years. I am excited and cannot wait to work with staff, both old and new, and the community."
