Agricultural Training Series for Municipal Officials, CEOs, and Realtors Part One

This is a workshop co-sponsored by CCE, Sullivan County Division of Planning and Community Development and Sullivan County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board.

Staff from the NYS Division of Agriculture and Markets and CCE Sullivan will teach municipal officials, code enforcement officers and realtors about NYS Agriculture and Markets Law. They will explain agricultural districts and how they relate to zoning within the municipality, agricultural assessments, right to farm laws and what the ag data statement, 239 review process, and ag disclosure notices are, followed by a Q & A. Planning and Zoning Board members are eligible for 1.5 NYS training credits (if approved by their municipality). Refreshments will be provided.
