This series is a 6-week virtual program in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County to support parents and caregivers with resources and tools for raising children. We've chosen to offer this series at a new time to help parents engage after bedtime!

Please join this interactive virtual parenting workshop which will focus on supporting parents and caregivers in creating nurturing environments in their homes with the help of positive discipline tools!

What you will learn:

• About parenting styles and which one style works best for you and your child
• To understand children’s behavior and strategies to work with them
• Effective communication approaches
• Five research informed practices to add to your parenting tool box
• How to set realistic limits
• How to support social and emotional development in your child
• The importance of self-care for you and your child
