4-H Pumpkin Growing Contest

Are you a 4-H youth interested in growing pumpkins? Take part in our contest and learn to cultivate your own pumpkins!

The Sullivan County 4-H Program is offering a Pumpkin Growing Contest which offers the opportunity to exhibit your knowledge and ability to cultivate and grow one or more pumpkins! Pumpkin seeds will be donated by EM Livestock of Rushville, NY and guidelines for growing, record keeping on pumpkin growth, taking pictures of pumpkins and final weighing of pumpkins will all be incorporated into your experience!. Awards will be give in several categories including: the most unique pumpkin, the most uniform pumpkin, the best records, the largest pumpkin, the smallest pumpkin, and the best pumpkin picture!

Register by June 30th with Barbara Moran, 4-H Program Manager!
