Four years ago, with support from the Sullivan County Department of Public Health Services and Sullivan Renaissance, Catskill Mountainkeeper jumpstarted the farmers’ markets in Monticello and Liberty. With the Liberty market taking off and ready for extra attention, Catskill Mountainkeeper is transitioning the market in Monticello to Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCE Sullivan) to spark its own reinvention. The Sullivan Fresh Farmers Market at Monticello will have a variety of vendors selling local fruits and vegetables, honey, maple syrup and more!
There is ample free parking adjacent to the farmers’ market, which is just steps from downtown Monticello. Market shoppers will be treated to special, fun events and activities throughout the summer.
