Youth will be provided with knowledge of starting vegetables indoors and when to plant outside to give their garden the best chance.
According to Rasmussen University, gardening encourages youth to eat healthier, provides engaging moderate exercise, builds a sense of confidence, develops STEM & analytical abilities, relieves stress, improves focus & memory, and positively impacts mood & psychological wellbeing.
