Starting Your Vegetables Indoors

Youth will be provided with knowledge of starting vegetables indoors and when to plant outside to give their garden the best chance.

  • How to start seed indoors 
  • Germination update and how to care for young plants
  • How to transition the plants to the outside garden.
  • Videos released on April 10th, April 24th, and May 15th on Facebook and Youtube. 

According to Rasmussen University, gardening encourages youth to eat healthier, provides engaging moderate exercise, builds a sense of confidence, develops STEM & analytical abilities, relieves stress, improves focus & memory, and positively impacts mood & psychological wellbeing.
