4-H Horseback Riding Program

This program is April 1st- October 1st. 

Sullivan County youth who ride, drive or do groundwork with their horse(s) are invited to join in the Hands-On Horse Program. This program offering will include equine project animals and incorporates record keeping of hours worked with the project animal. 

  • The program will offer three levels: Cloverbud, Junior, Senior an enrollment form must be submitted to enter the Horseback Riding Program to show interest in participation. 
  • Log Sheets and enrollment forms will available on the CCE website.
  • For Sullivan County Youth who are involved in a horse project whether it be riding, driving and/or groundwork.
  • Youth will log their hours with their project horse. If more than one horse is worked with they must each have their own log sheet.
  • Log Sheets must be turned in no later than October 15, 2022 to be eligible for awards.
  • Awards will be given upon completion of the program.
