Great for Preschool through 8th Grade educators, physical education & health education teachers, counselors, social workers, recreation directors and community members. Comprehensive Kids Teacher Training is incredibly fun and interactive, designed to provide adult yoga practitioners with the tools and knowledge needed to share the gifts of yoga and mindfulness with children.
Share mindfulness activities, yoga postures, breathe work and visualization techniques. Describe the physical, cognitive, social and emotional wellness benefits based on interventions with children. Effectively modify and adapt teaching for a variety of settings, groups or individual needs. Implement best practices for teaching and classroom management, and find support tools and resources for continued learning.
Participants will receive a nationally recognized 2½ day training, intensively addressing teaching yoga to children. Ten optional no contact hours to earn certification as a Certified ChildLight Yoga Instructor.
Cost is $433 per person. Registration and payment are required in advance. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. PayPal or pay by phone.
