4-H Horse & Livestock Photo Contest

  • Monday, January 1, 2018, 12:00 PM - Saturday, June 30@ 12:00 PM

The Horse and Livestock Photography Contest is held for the Sullivan County 4-H horse and livestock programs and is divided into two sub-categories; one for standard photographs and the other for digitally enhanced or altered photographs. Each category will be judged separately and awards will be given in each category.

The program objective is to encourage equine and livestock-related photography by 4-H youth who can gain confidence and develop skills. Participants will learn the value of organizing visual exhibits in an area of interest and practice how to promote awareness of the 4-H horse and livestock projects using photographic displays.

The contest is free for 4-H members. *Any youth age 5 to 18 can enroll in 4-H in Sullivan County for free, all year long.

Space is limited for this program and registration is required in advance. Registration can be completed by calling CCESC at 845-292-6180, emailing sullivan@cornell.edu, or using the link located on the left sidebar of this page. Additional donations for CCESC programs are appreciated.
