Capturing Money Using QuickBooks

Quickbooks is the leading accounting and payroll software for small to medium businesses. This workshop will provide the basics on financial record-keeping and QuickBooks for farmers.

Elizabeth Higgins, Ag Business Management Specialist of Cornell Cooperative Extension Eastern NY Horticulture Program will present setting up a chart of accounts, setting up and managing bank accounts and other assets and liabilities, recording product sales and business purchases, creating invoices and paying bills, and using key financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow). 

Cost is $40 per person; $35 per CCESC enrollee*

Space is limited and pre-registration with non-refundable payment is required in advance. Seats are only guaranteed with payment. Payment can be made in advance by check, cash, or credit. Additional donations for CCESC programs are appreciated.

*Anyone can enroll in CCESC for an annual contribution of $25 per household.
