Seasonal Sullivan Fresh Farmers Market Coordinator - FT / Sullivan County, NY (2 positions)

Sullivan Fresh Markets rotate across 8 sites throughout Sullivan County. We are seeking dynamic, engaging, energetic Market Coordinators to work our farmers markets to ensure smooth operations and efficiency. This includes picking up, packing, loading, unloading, setting up, selling, local farm and food products into the mobile market van, properly sanitizing all supplies and equipment, operating a point of service (POS) machine, and completing sales paperwork. We are hiring one seasonal (June 24-November 1) full-time positions at 20-25 hours per week.

Energy Hubs Program Manager - FT - Liberty, NY

The Energy Hubs Program Manager is responsible for informing and assisting residents, multifamily building owners, and small businesses, with an emphasis in low-to-moderate income and priority communities, of the options for adopting clean energy strategies in their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities include working with community partners to lend energy efficiency and clean energy programs addressing energy insecurity. This position will implement programs that deliver information and provide education in a wide variety of settings, including outreach at community events; presenting before large audiences; connecting with audiences and stakeholders via one-on-one phone calls; following up with leads/clients to provide additional information; assisting leads/clients with navigating every step of applying for relevant energy efficiency and clean energy programs available to them; helping troubleshoot obstacles to adopting clean energy strategies; coordinating with local energy contractors in providing accurate information on the programs, etc. 

This position is a full-time, exempt, benefits eligible position, with a starting salary of $58,500 per year. Weekends and evenings are required. To apply, click here by June 13, 2024. 


Ag. Market Coordinator - PT / Central Valley, NY

The Ag Market Coordinator promotes local agricultural products and agri-tourism and will help represent Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC) to the public, NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets and Cornell University; a familiarity with local agriculture products and retail food sales will be demonstrated.

The Ag Market Coordinator will assist the Ag Market Manager implement activities related to the grant funded Taste NY Market program at the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Central Valley and at pop-up markets throughout the region. Primary responsibilities include educating the public on NYS products and points of interest, clerical/administrative support with day-to-day planning, coordination, routine management, straightforward inventory management, purchasing, operation of cash register, basic cash controls, operation and maintenance of inventory and Point of Sale software, transportation of inventory from warehouse to store, customer service, and general record keeping.
