Join the Southeast Regional Livestock Team (Sullivan, Orange & Ulster Counties) for an eight part virtual series for those new to or interested in livestock production on the dates below.
8 sessions, approximately every two weeks, 12pm to 1:30pm
Session 1 (May 5): Introduction to livestock (land requirements, shelter requirements, infrastructure, zoning)
Session 2 (May 19): Introduction to forage & forage quality
Session 3 (June 2): Beginner chickens
Session 4 (June 16): Introduction to cattle
Session 5 (June 30): Introduction to swine
Session 6 (July 7): Introduction to sheep & goats
Session 7 (July 21): Meat science and regulations
Session 8 (August 4): Livestock auctions
Register for one session and pay the $10 fee and you can attend any number of the other sessions for free. Look for the promo code in your confirmation email. You'll need to register for each session individually and enter the code to access the other sessions.
