CANCELED: Maximizing Production With PRO-Dairy

  • Wednesday, March 14, 2018, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

This class has been canceled until further notice. Contact CCE with questions 845-292-6180.

According to Mark Stephenson, director of Cornell University’s Center for Dairy Profitability, he predicts all milk prices will be down from 2017 by $1.55-per-hundred-weight for 2018. Another year of low milk prices means another year farmers will have to tighten their belts and do whatever possible to keep costs down and cash flowing.

A program on Maximizing Cost of Production with PRO-Dairy will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC) offers this workshop from 1:30 – 3:00 pm at its Extension Education Center on 64 Ferndale-Loomis Road in Liberty. LUNCH will be provided.

Ashley Howlett of Cornell PRO-Dairy presents an in-depth look at maximizing dairy production, understanding milk and feed production costs, and management strategies to decrease expenses and increase efficiency.

This program is FREE. Registration is requested in advance by calling CCESC at 845-292-6180, emailing sullivan@cornell.edu, or using the link located on the left sidebar of this page.
