Monthly family caregiver support groups are offered throughout Sullivan County, hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC)’s Caregiver Resource Center (CRC). These groups are intended to provide both support and new resources to the informal family caregiver who assists an aging, ill, or disabled adult relative or friend. Bonnie Lewis, RN, CCESC dependent care educator, uses the AARP curriculum “Caring for Those You Care About” to facilitate meetings, along with various other educational resources.
